Spiced Lamb Shoulder Roast with a Mint and Parsley Dressing

This lamb shoulder is rubbed with a delicious, zesty Middle Eastern spice blend that's similar to za'atar. We then truss and roast it to medium rare perfection and top with a beautiful herbal blend of parsley, mint, shallots and a hint of lime! This recipe is way easier than it sounds and will leave you feeling very accomplished in the kitchen!

Dinner Party Menu

First on the menu is an outstanding pumpkin risotto with stracciatella, crispy sage, and shiitakes. Paired with it is a maple dijon pork tenderloin (or chicken thighs). For dessert, enjoy an apple cider bread pudding with creme anglaise and caramel.

Love, love, love lamb. Personally think the shoulder is the most flavourful cut. But in my many years of living in various parts of the States, I have never seen the shoulder cut anywhere, much less deboned. Any ideas where I might find it? Currently living just north of Atlanta.

Hi Helga! That is so strange, I found this lamb shoulder at whole foods! Do you have a whole foods near you in that area? Also butchers should carry it as well.
