Red Velvet S’mores Dip
Dips are great. They can be sweet, savory, cheesy….basically anything your heart desires can be made into a dip. The other day my heart desired a fun s’mores dip, and after a bit of brainstorming and drooling on myself, this red velvet M&M s’mores dip was born.
To put it simply, anyone can make this. It’s easy to put together with store bought cake mix, and everything used in this recipe is easily found at the grocery store. First, we combined red velvet cake mix with some cream cheese and butter, because of course, life is better with butter and cream cheese. This also helped bring a rich fatty flavor to the sugary cake mix. We skipped the eggs entirely, which is a great tip if you want to do this with any other kind of cake mix. Just skip the eggs! We folded in M&M’s and then topped with marshmallows and more m&m’s. The final touch? A good old broil.
